At ESCEG, activities begin to update and prepare the mayors and councils of the Municipal Administration of Havana.


This morning, at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG), training activities began for the mayors and members of the Municipal Administration Councils of the municipalities of Boyeros and Cotorro in Havana province. This training follows up on an initial meeting held in June of this year.
The opening session was led by Vice-Rector Dr. Ana Gloria Navarro Penton, who welcomed the participants, explained the topics to be covered, and outlined the training program, which will conclude on December 5.
The first activity focused on legal matters, allowing attendees to view videos featuring important presentations by Homero Acosta Álvarez, Secretary of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba; Nancy Acosta, Head of the Directorate for Attention to Local Administrations of People's Power in the Council of Ministers; and General Luis Pérez Róspides, Head of the Directorate for the Improvement of Organs and Systems. As part of the activity, the President of the People's Court of Havana, Yojanier Sierra Infante, spoke, sharing the experience of the Forced Execution Section of the Provincial Court of Havana.
