The Camilo-Che Day celebration at ESCEG concludes

With a commemoration of Camilo Cienfuegos, hero of Yaguajay and leader of the Vanguard, the activities organized to mark Camilo-Che Day in 2025 concluded at the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG). The activities began on October 8th with an afternoon event organized by students of the 10th edition of the Postgraduate Specialization in Business Management and Administration. The event aimed to highlight the figure of the Heroic Guerrilla, Ernesto "Che" Guevara, and his immense contribution to the defense of the Cuban Revolution. During the gathering, anecdotes and stories from his life were shared, bringing to life the beloved revolutionary from his time in the Sierra Maestra mountains and the early days of the revolutionary process.
Later, on October 28, students from the seventh edition of the Diploma in Public and Business Administration organized an event in honor of Camilo Cienfuegos, with the participation of students and professors from the "Hermanos Tamayo" Pre-University Institute of the Ministry of the Interior. They offered songs, poems, and a dialogue with history, focusing on the friendship between Camilo, Che Guevara, and Fidel Castro during the revolutionary struggle.
These activities are part of the program celebrating the centennial of Commander Fidel Castro in November 2026 and contribute to the development of values and the political and ideological preparation of students enrolled in programs at ESCEG. Administrators, professors, and staff from the institution were present at each event.
