Faculty of Public Administration of Moscow State University MV Lomonosov visits ESCEG

On April 29, the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) visited the Faculty of Public Administration of the MV Lomonosov Moscow State University, represented by Sergei V. Skriabin, senior specialist of the Department of International Relations of Latin America, Central America, and the Caribbean. A representative from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Cuba also participated. The ESCEG Rector, Mercedes Delgado Fernández, along with the vice-rectors, and the head of the IT Department, chaired the event on behalf of ESCEG. Among the objectives of the visit, the importance of establishing direct contact between the two institutions was highlighted, and the following were proposed:
1. Organize joint courses and conferences in public and business administration.
2. Study Russian for cadres and officials who require it, strengthening collaboration between Cuba and Russia.
3. Organize academic exchange visits and participate in international conferences of both institutions.
4. Publish in the journals of both institutions.
5. Project joint research on topics related to public administration in: Digital transformation and artificial intelligence, Leadership and leadership training, Economics, public finance and legal foundations, Access to markets and global value chains of public administration, Teaching technologies.
