The ESCEG and the Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI) participate in an exchange on the Municipal Development Strategy of Old Havana


Organized jointly by the Government of Old Havana and the Higher School of State and Government Staff (ESCEG), an important exchange is taking place on the Municipality's Development Strategy.
The exchange took place at the Government headquarters in Old Havana, with the participation of Dr.C. Ana Gloria Navarro Pentón, Vice-Rector of the institution, M. Sc. María Mercedes Machín Hernández, Head of the Department of Public Administration and Computer Science Technician, Suleika Canosa González.
The Mayor, Alexis Acosta Silva, accompanied by Vice Mayor Geysa Saborit Vergara, presented the Strategy and exchanged with the delegation.
More than 30 directors, officials and workers of the institution attended the meeting.
The head of the SAI delegation, Vice President Xie Genhua, expressed his gratitude for the welcome and the tour to sites of historical and cultural interest and said he was impressed by the excellent conservation of the architecture of the buildings and the cordiality of its people.
The visit takes place as part of the jointly organized program between both institutions, which have been collaborating since June 2016, the date on which they signed the first Memorandum of Understanding for exchanges and cooperation in training, scientific research and technical assistance in public and business policies. .
The ties of friendship and cooperation between the ESCEG, the SAI and the Government of Old Havana are strengthened.
