Seminar "Public Administration for officials from Latin American countries"




The Rector of the ESCEG, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, gives a warm and affectionate welcome to the friends and colleagues from Cuba, China, Mexico and Argentina who are participating in the Public Administration Seminar for officials from Latin American countries” , taught by the National Academy of the Interior of China and organized jointly with the Higher School of State and Government Cadres of Cuba for the conformation of the enrollment by Cuba, as part of the multilateral courses that are developed between the Ministry of Commerce Foreign Affairs and Foreign Investment of Cuba and the Ministry of Commerce of China, for which it has the support of the Embassies of both countries.
The ties of friendship and cooperation between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres and the National Academy of Government of China have been consolidated and strengthened since the first Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2014 between both institutions. to exchange and cooperate in training and scientific research in the fulfillment of our missions. From that date to the present, exchanges on very relevant issues of public administration and the business system have been developed in Cuba and China for the preparation of almost two thousand cadres and teachers through more than 46 courses with various academies and institutions. of the People's Republic of China.
The Rector specified that for Cuba, there are 20 participants from 14 different institutions, 90% are managers, with 8 deputy ministers, 3 of them first deputy ministers. He also highlighted the extraordinary significance of the Seminar that will be held from March 16 to 29 and includes topics approved at the XX Congress of the Communist Party of China, just concluded on October 22, 2022.
