The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China visits the Higher School of State and Government Cadres


On November 10, the Higher School of State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) is visited by His Excellency the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Cuba, Mr. Ma Hui, accompanied by the economic and commercial adviser of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Cuba, Mr. Zhou Quan, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the People's Republic of China. The Rector, Dr. C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, the Vice-rectors, Dr. C. Ana Gloria Navarro Pentón, Dr. C. Bárbara Susana Sánchez Vignau, the Vice-rector, MSc. Lisi Campos Chaurero and the Head of the Computer Science Teaching Department, Dr. C. José Miguel Valdés Portal. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of brotherhood, friendship and respect, in which reference was made to the extraordinary significance of the XX Congress of the Communist Party of China and the importance of the "Cuban Ministerial Seminar on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Particularities for a New Era" that will take place from November 17 to 30, taught by the National Academy of Government of China, organized jointly with the Higher School of State and Government Cadres of Cuba, in which what was agreed at the recently held Congress of the Communist Party of China. They also commented on the fruitful and consolidated collaboration that since 2014 has been carried out between the Higher School of State and Government Cadres and 7 institutions of the People's Republic of China, developing more than 45 courses with more than 1800 graduates.
