The Higher School of State and Government Staff participates in the GESEMAP 2022 event

With the participation of professors Lydia Garrigó, Maritza Mengana, Raudelis Breffe, María de los Ángeles Linares; the department heads María Mercedes Machín and Vivían Antúnez; as well as, the Rector Mercedes Delgado and the Vice Rector Bárbara Sánchez, the Escuela Superior de Cuadros was represented at the great international event.
The ESCEG present at the GESEMAP 2022 International Congress, among the many activities that take place, the fruitful exchange with Francisco Javier Velazquez López, Secretary General of CLAD, who gave the conference, stands out. Main challenges in the process of modernization of the State in Latin America in the context of the covid 19 pandemic. Important reflections that will contribute to strengthening the management of public administration in Cuba in the current scenarios.

Opportunities to perfect the study programs based on the challenges imposed by the strengthening of the institutional framework, the improvement of the functioning of the administrations, more confidence of the citizens in the management that is carried out as well as preparing ourselves for the fourth industrial revolution. Innovation stands as a transversal axis in the solution of problems that allow us to respond optimally to citizen needs.
