Recognized Rector of the ESCEG with the Carlos J Finlay Order

The Rector of the Higher School of State and Government Cadres, Dr C. Mercedes Delgado Fernández, was awarded the Carlos J Finlay Order, in a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Higher Education held on April 9.
The event was chaired by the head of the organization Dr C Walter Baluja García, who highlighted in his speech the dedication and professionalism of the colleagues recognized for their contributions to the development of science, while valuing the importance of science and innovation in the work of Universities.
The Carlos J Finlay Order is awarded by the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba to national and foreign personalities, as well as to scientific groups for their merits and contributions to the socio-economic development of the nation.
